Getting to Malcolm Island from the Mainland
If you are driving from the mainland your best route is to take the Horseshoe Bay ferry to Nanaimo. From there it is a scenic four hour drive along the North Island Highway to Port McNeill. Malcolm Island is a short 25 minute trip on BC Ferries and your return trip is included in the fare.
